Shri Naba Kumar Borah is a professional banker having wide range of experiences in Banking & Finance over a period of 40 years. He served State Bank of India in various capacities like Branch Head of large branches, Regional Manager and departmental head at Bank’s Local Head Office. He worked in different geographical locations in N.E. Region and in the then States of Madhya Pradesh & Bihar.

Shri Borah had specialised experiences in Retail Banking, Rural Lending, Budgeting & Performance monitoring, Currency Chests and Govt. banking. He undergone special training on Financial Planning & Wealth Management, Farm Mechanisation & Plantation Crops. His contributions towards rural lending (SHG, SGSY, PMEGP, KVIC, Small Tea Growers) were well recognised by Govt. by felicitating him in the Republic Day celebrations.

Shri Borah is a graduate from Gauhati University with distinction and a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking. He carries keen interest in literary & cultural activities.
