N. Govin is working as Faculty Research Associate at IIBM, Guwahati. Holding an MBA from Manipur University and a submitted PhD on "Financial Behaviour among Major Tribes in Manipur," he cleared UGC NET during his MBA third semester and later secured UGC NET JRF.

He began his professional journey as Finance Manager at YVU Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. post-MBA, gaining practical industry insights before transitioning to academia. As Guest Faculty, he taught MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance programs at MIMS, Manipur University, for over 7.5 years prior to joining IIBM in 2025.His interdisciplinary background includes a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

He completed the prestigious Faculty Development Programme in General Management at IIM Ahmedabad (April-May 2024) and Case Method Workshop on Business Case Writing at IIM Calcutta (December 19-21, 2025). He authored 4 UGC Care-listed journal papers, 2 book chapters from conferences, and won the best research paper award at the 6th International Youth Symposium (iNYS) in 2021.

His focus spans Accounting, Finance and ESG factors, driven by a passion for sustainable practices that empower communities.
