Dr. Mayuraxee Barman is working as Faculty Research Associate (FRA) at IIBM, Guwahati. She earned her doctorate from the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University, Assam, with a thesis titled "Development of a Quality Measure for Online Banking Services: A Study in Assam." She has served as guest faculty for over two years at prestigious institutions, including the Department of Commerce, Gauhati University; B. Borooah College; N.H. College; G.N.D.G. Commerce College; Arya Vidyapeeth College; and Royal Global University.

Her research interests encompass online banking, service quality, managerial education, sustainable practices, inclusive education, and financial inclusion. Dr. Barman has authored numerous articles and publications in national and international journals and books within these domains.
